Activities

  • Fruit Activity (Fruit Ball): Slices of fruits are brought by the student. All the fruits are mixed and sugar, salt, and chaat masala powder is added to taste. Students enjoy eating fruit ball.
  • Vegetable Activity (Salad): Slices of vegetables for salad are brought by the students. All the vegetables are mixed by the students and sugar, salt, chaat masala powder is added to taste.
  • Bhel Preparation: Bhel is prepared in the school by the teacher and students.
  • Sandwich Activity: Sandwiches are prepared by the students themselves (Bread, Cucumber, Tomato, boiled potatoes and sauce)
  • Doll Marriage: A mock doll marriage is conducted, students and teachers come dressed as invitees, relatives.
  • Market Role Play: Students dress as vegetable vendors, fruit sellers, toy sellers etc. and a market scene is created. This helps develop communication skills.
  • Bullock Cart Ride: Student sits on a Bullock cart and an exciting ride is taken on the school ground.
  • Colour Day: Students are told to come in a specific colour and bring that colour objects for eg. Red day- Red colour dress and any red object. Green day- Green colour dress and any green colour a object. (Once in a month on Friday)
  • Educational Trip: Students of Jr./Sr. KG visit the Vasai Fort and also they are taken to the sea- shore (Suruchi Baug)
  • Picnic: Students of Jr. /Sr. KG go for picnic every year to any nearby picnic spot or resort by bus.
  • Get together party: Enjoy party with lots of snacks, chocolates and soft drink. They also enjoy ice-cream on the last day of the academic year.

Festivals

  • Gopal Kala Celebration: Students are dressed as Radha Krishna and by making human pyramid the Handi is broken.
  • Ganpati Celebration: Idol of Ganpati is brought in the school After the aarti, prasad is distributed among the students.
  • Diwali Celebration: A Fort is prepared Shivaji Maharaj and Malwas with few animals are kept on the fort. Crackers are burned and sweets are distributed. Rangoli is drawn.
  • Dassera Celebration: Saraswati Yantra is drawn on the slate and with few flowers. Pooja is done.
  • Christmas Celebration: A crib is prepared and idol of Mother Mary, Jesus-Baby, shepherds, some animals are kept. X’mas tree is decorated. Sweets are distributed.
  • Makar Sankranti Celebration: Ornaments of Halwa are prepared. Tilgul is distributed.
  • Holi Celebration: Colours are prepared by grating beetroot. Puran poli is distributed among the students.
  • Eid Celebration: Students come in traditional dress. for eg. Girls in alwar suit and boys in Kurta Pyjama. We make Sheer Khurma (Sweet dish with milk, sugar and all dry fruits ie Almond, Pistacho, Charoli, Cashewnut, dry date etc..) and serve the students.
  • Raksha Bandhan: Girls tie Rakhi to the boys and sweets are distributed.
